Apple Now Charges Nigerians In Naira

Apple Now Charges Nigerians In Naira

One of the most respected technology company, Apple has started charging in Naira for Nigerian users.

This was confirmed by iTunes in a mail sent out to its Nigerian customers about the new currency change added to iTunes Store, Apple Music and App Store.

The mail sent out days ago read; “Dear Subscriber, The currency of the App Store, the iTunes Store, and Apple Music in Nigeria will soon be changing from U.S. dollars to Nigerian naira. This change requires no action from you.

“After the currency change occurs, any pre-orders or subscriptions you have will be billed in Nigerian naira. Learn how to manage your subscriptions or send iTunes Gifts via email. If you have any other questions, visit Apple Support.”

To effect this change, Apple has started charging in Naira, just like Facebook did in October 2016.
