The successful release of tracks like, ‘Pana’, ‘Where’, ‘Diana’, amongst other notable songs churned out by Tekno Miles have eventually made the TripleMG act a superstar who has attracted the international media.
Tekno who’s sound is fast breaking the forces of Africa to the American market and gradually travelling across the world has just been listed as part of the top 10 artists to watch out for in the fast approaching year 2017.
Tekno was the only Nigerian listed by American entertainment publication, Billboard, alongside foreign musicians like Kehlani, Khalid, Princess Nokia and others. According to Billboard contributor, Elias Leight, he said;
“Tekno already has a number of hits in Nigeria, and Columbia Records took note, throwing its weight behind this agile, elastic-voiced singer.
“Tekno’s “Pana,” which has already accumulated more than 13 million views on YouTube and inspired a minor version of a video challenge, is romantic and light on its feet with little more than a nagging guitar line and squirts of bass, everything pegged to a serpentine forward march.
“There’s clearly a demand in the mainstream for feathery dance cuts like this one: close your eyes and imagine a smart radio programmer cueing this up after Drake’s “Too Good.””
This is an impressive way for Tekno to end year 2016, added to the fact that he recently signed Sony Music deal.
